Responsible Social Play

PixEverywhere is a social gaming brand operated by ActiveEdge. Pixel Cascade is developed by ActiveEdge and is designed for entertainment only. It does not offer or promote real-money gambling and does not provide cash, cash-out, monetary prizes, physical prizes or prizes of real-world value.

Our social game: Pixel Cascade

A calm colour-matching puzzle with one rule, five colours and a board of 108 tiles. It runs in your browser, needs no account and no download, and a round usually takes a few minutes.

How to play

Hover or focus a tile to see its group highlighted. Click a group of two or more touching tiles of the same colour to clear it. Tiles above fall down and empty columns slide left. Keep going until no groups remain, or clear the whole board.

Scoring

A group of n tiles scores (n − 2)² × 10 points, so a group of five is worth 90 and a group of ten is worth 640. Clearing every tile adds a 1000 point bonus. Your best score stays on your device only and has no monetary value.

Rounds end on their own

A round finishes when no groups are left. There is no endless mode and no mechanic that extends a session in exchange for watching or paying for anything.

No streaks, no losses for leaving

We do not track daily logins, award streak bonuses or take anything away when you stop playing. Your best score is the only thing remembered, and it never decays.

Playing responsibly

Age

Access is intended only for users who meet the legal gambling age applicable in their Canadian province or territory.

Virtual items

Any virtual currency, credits, points or in-game items used in Pixel Cascade have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred, redeemed or exchanged for money or anything of real-world value.

Balanced play

Treat social gaming as entertainment. Take regular breaks and stop playing if it stops being enjoyable.

Purchases

If Pixel Cascade includes in-app purchases, they will be disclosed clearly and accurately on the landing page and in our Terms of Use.

When to take a break

Even a harmless puzzle can crowd out things that matter. If you notice any of the following, close the tab for a while.

  • You are playing to avoid something rather than because it is enjoyable.
  • Sessions are regularly longer than you intended.
  • Play is cutting into sleep, work, study or time with other people.
  • You feel irritable when you cannot play.

If play of any kind, including real-money gambling elsewhere, has stopped feeling like a choice, talking to a doctor or one of the Canadian support services below is a good first step.
